The participation fee for Pack camping events covers the cost of facility use and consumables (food, drink, supplies, etc.). Facilities must be reserved often months ahead of time, while food and supplies are typically purchased the week of the event. To balance this with our desire to offer flexibility, fees are 100% refundable up to 30 days prior to the event. From 30 days prior up to the registration deadline (typically the Tuesday before the event) fees are 50% refundable. After the registration deadline fees are not refundable.
Scouting America requires an active Annual Health and Medical Record to be present and readily accessible for all participants at overnight scouting events for inssurance purposes. This record must be provided by the registration deadline, or participation will be prohibited. These records are never scanned or copied and may be requested back following the event. Upon expiration (one year) these forms are shredded and discarded.
