As a leader for Pack 101, you don’t have to log requirements one Scout at a time. The Unit Quick Entry feature allows you to record progress for an entire Den or the whole Pack in a single pass.
Log In: Go to advancements.scouting.org or open your installed app.
Verify Role: Ensure the "Currently Viewing" toggle in the top-right is set to your Leadership/Admin role.
Go to Roster: Select Roster from the navigation menu on the left.
Find the Tool: Click on Unit Quick Entry located at the very top of the roster list.
Select Category: From the list of options, select Adventures.
Filters: Use the dropdown menus to select the specific Rank, the Adventure name, and the Version (e.g., 2024), then click Apply.
Select Scouts: The page will now show all Scouts who are eligible for that adventure; simply check the boxes for everyone who was present.
Pick the Requirements: Select the individual requirement numbers or check "Select All" if the entire adventure was finished.
Details: You can write a Comment (great for future Special Recognition notes), record the Completion Date, and select "Mark as Approved".
Submit: Click Apply to save the records.
The Colors: Recording the completion without approving it results in a Green Check; selecting "Mark as Approved" turns it into a Blue Check.
The Shopping List: Only Blue (Approved) items will show up on the final report for the Committee Chair to purchase awards for the next Pack meeting.
Log Early: Try to enter these completions within 24 hours of our meeting while the details are still fresh.
Absences: If a Scout missed the meeting, leave them unchecked. Their parents can make-up work at home.
